Google Health Settings Export Format

This export contains the Google Health account settings for each participant who has connected a Google Health account — their preferred units of measurement, language and locale, time zone, and how their stride length is determined. See Google's Settings resource reference for how these values are set.

Data Fields

Field Description
ParticipantIdentifier The identifier of the participant this settings record is for. Can be used to cross reference with Participants.
ParticipantID The stable, automatically generated, internal system identifier for the participant. Universally unique identifier (UUID).
ModifiedDate When this settings record was last modified, in ISO 8601 format. Always in UTC.
AutoStrideEnabled Whether the participant's stride length is calculated automatically rather than entered manually.
DistanceUnit The participant's preferred unit for distance, e.g., "DISTANCE_UNIT_MILES" or "DISTANCE_UNIT_KILOMETERS".
FoodLanguageCode The language used to look up nutrition information for the participant, e.g., "en-US".
GlucoseUnit The participant's preferred unit for blood glucose, e.g., "GLUCOSE_UNIT_MG_DL" or "GLUCOSE_UNIT_MMOL_L".
HeightUnit The participant's preferred unit for height, e.g., "HEIGHT_UNIT_INCHES" or "HEIGHT_UNIT_CENTIMETERS".
LanguageLocale The participant's language and region setting from their Google Health account, e.g., "en-US".
StrideLengthRunningType How the participant's running stride length is determined: "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_DEFAULT" (calculated from gender and height), "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_MANUAL" (entered by the participant), or "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_AUTO" (calculated automatically from activity data).
StrideLengthWalkingType How the participant's walking stride length is determined: "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_DEFAULT" (calculated from gender and height), "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_MANUAL" (entered by the participant), or "STRIDE_LENGTH_TYPE_AUTO" (calculated automatically from activity data).
SwimUnit The participant's preferred unit for swim distance, e.g., "SWIM_UNIT_METERS" or "SWIM_UNIT_YARDS".
TemperatureUnit The participant's preferred unit for temperature, e.g., "TEMPERATURE_UNIT_CELSIUS" or "TEMPERATURE_UNIT_FAHRENHEIT".
TimeZone The participant's time zone, in IANA Time Zone Database format, e.g., "America/New_York".
UtcOffset The participant's UTC offset, expressed in seconds, e.g., "-14400s" for UTC-4.
WaterUnit The participant's preferred unit for water intake, e.g., "WATER_UNIT_ML", "WATER_UNIT_FL_OZ", or "WATER_UNIT_CUP".
WeightUnit The participant's preferred unit for weight, e.g., "WEIGHT_UNIT_POUNDS", "WEIGHT_UNIT_STONE", or "WEIGHT_UNIT_KILOGRAMS".
