Promoting Your Project From Testing to Production Mode
- Updated
Prior to launching your project, you'll want to configure and test your project. During this time, your project should be in "Development Mode", which:
- Warns participants that the project is not ready for real participants.
- Disables Enrollment by Search.
- Allows project teams to test custom views without CareEvolution review.
Once you are ready to launch your project, you'll be ready to promote it to "Production Mode".
Development Mode
While in development mode, participants attempting to join your project will see this orange banner within MyDataHelps:
Once you promote to production mode, this banner is removed.
Your project's mode is displayed throughout MyDataHelps Designer to help remind you.
Promoting to Production Mode
Follow these steps to promote your project to production mode. This promotion cannot be undone.
- On the project's home dashboard, click "Enter Production Mode".
- Read the prompts and select "Yes, promote" when you are ready.
- Now your project is in production mode!
If your project is using custom views, you'll need to follow the review process before you can promote your project to production mode.
