Configuring Project Settings

Project settings allow you to control how your project is displayed to participants from the About Settings tab. This article contains the different fields available on the tab.
About Settings Fields
The About section contains several fields that store participant-facing information, for example, the project Display Name, or the Support Phone Number.

The name for your project that will be shown to internal MyDataHelps Designer Users. |

Display Name | The name for your project that will be shown to participants using the MyDataHelps app. | “Electronic Framingham Heart Study”, “Post-Operative Pain Study” |
Display Description | A short description of the project. | “We are excited to allow you to join the Electronic Framingham Heart Project…” |
Project Type | A category describing the project, displayed to participants and used to filter search results. | Research Study, Wellness Program, Clinical Program |
Support Phone Number |
An optional phone number participants can call for help or more information. |

Alert Email Address |
An optional email address for MyDataHelps Designer to send you alerts or notifications about the project. Defaults to the project owner email address. |

The From Name set in emails sent by this project. |

Notification Reply To Email Address |
The Email address that will be set when participants attempt to reply to emails sent by this project. |

A URL to a public page which the participant can go to to get more information on the project. Note: Be sure to include the http:// or https:// prefix. Some browsers/devices will not load improperly-formatted URLs. |

Protected Participants |
Participant data will be protected from workspace users unless the participant explicitly chooses to share data. This allows a single project to host research participants who wish to share data as well as those who only wish to join a care management program.
