Can the REST API be used for data exports? Answered

It looks like MyDataHelps has a REST API (https://developer.mydatahelps.org/api/).  Can we use this in order to pull data, or is pushing data using SFTP the only option?

The REST API is designed for real-time data access for operational reasons. For instance, if you need to trigger an event on a specific participant when something happens inside your internal application.

We do not recommend use of the REST API for full data export or analysis purposes. The REST API is rate limited so only a certain number of requests can be made per hour, and not all data is available via the REST API. In fact, the granular Fitbit data you are looking for may not be available via the REST API, which provides Fitbit data summaries.
