Promoting Your Project From Testing to Production Mode
Prior to launching your project, you'll want to configure and test your project. During this time, your project should be in "Development Mode", which:
- Warns participants that the project is not ready for real participants.
- Disables Enrollment by Search.
- Allows project teams to test custom views without CareEvolution review.
Once you are ready to launch your project, you'll be ready to promote it to "Production Mode".
You will need a Production License before you can promote your project to Production Mode. Follow the Get Production License instructions within MyDataHelps Designer or contact us. See "Promoting to Production Mode" below for further details.
Development Mode
While in development mode, participants attempting to join your project will see this orange banner within MyDataHelps:

Once you promote to production mode, this banner is removed.
Your project's mode is displayed throughout MyDataHelps Designer to help remind you.

Promoting to Production Mode
When you project is ready to move from Development Mode to Production Mode, you'll need to get a production license following the steps below. The project cannot be put back into development mode.
- On the project's home dashboard, click "Get Production License".

- Contact us with your workspace name and project name, as well as further details you can share about your project. Feel free to include a protocol and consent document.
- Once a production license is granted, you can click "Enter Production Mode" on your project's home dashboard.

- Read the prompts and select "Yes, enter production mode" when you are ready.
- Now your project is in production mode!

If your project is using custom views, you'll need to follow the review process before your project can be promoted to production mode.
