Survey Settings
The project Survey Settings tab contains a list of all surveys published to that project, and determines:
- Which are enabled for coordinator entry
- Whether a survey can have one result or more per event
- Optionally, if are events are created, which events the surveys are associated with
Coordinator Entry
This determines whether survey responses can be submitted by the coordinator on behalf of the participant. See Using Coordinator-Entered Surveys for more information.
Multi-Entry (Default) vs. Single-Entry Surveys
Coordinator-entered surveys can be created as multi-entry and single-entry surveys.
- Multi-Entry Surveys (default) allow multiple completions, each creating a new result. Previous submissions can also be edited. This is the default setting for surveys.
- Single-Entry Surveys allow only one result per event they are assigned to. Subsequent surveys will pre-fill the previous answers (only supported for Standard Survey V2 Survey Type), treating the survey as an edit of the existing result.
Published Version
This column displays which version of the survey is published to the project. To edit the survey or publish a different version, click the edit icon next to the version number.
Events
Events are an optional feature that allows you to assign survey tasks to specific milestones in the project. See Tracking Survey Completion with Events for more information.
Legacy Mode
Legacy Mode, if selected, disables certain survey features to preserve backwards compatibility with older projects:
- "Single Response" only applies to coordinator surveys. All surveys completed by participants are always "Multi-Response".
- Coordinator surveys will not display participant survey results if previously completed.
- Coordinators completing surveys will never trigger task completion.
