Survey results can be viewed and downloaded at a project or participant level. You can view and download a table of all results for a given survey or view and download a PDF of results for completed surveys from a specific participant on the Participants screen.
Survey results are stored and displayed in the Default language, except for text answer formats which display as the participant entered them.
Project Survey Results
To view and download survey results at a project level, go to the "Survey Results" tab.
Filtering Survey Results
Choose the survey you want to see results for, and optionally filter by Event or survey date. The table will include all survey answers as well as metadata such as the Event, Instance, and the user who took the survey (such as coordinator surveys). Use the "Field" drop-down to change which survey answers are displayed.
Downloading Survey Results
To download the table of results, use the "Export CSV" button in the top corner. The resulting file will include all displayed columns, with survey results identified using their Result Identifier.
Participant Survey Results
You can view and download a single participant's results to a PDF from the participant viewer.
- Select the "Participants" tab within your project.
- Select a participant.
- Select "Survey Results."
- Select a survey.
- Click "Save to PDF."
This will generate a PDF file containing the survey results.
Filtering Survey Results
Survey Tasks can be filtered in the Survey Results tab by Survey using the "Filter By" drop-down.
Viewing Full and Raw Survey Results
Survey Results can be viewed in either the full or raw formats, allowing coordinators to quickly view participant answers and survey metadata.
Participant Time Zone
The time zone associated with survey results displayed in MyDataHelps Designer reflects your current local time zone. The survey result data export and downloaded CSV time zone represents the time zone that the participant was in when the survey was completed.
For data analysis, use the time zone associated with the survey result data export as it includes the UTC offset. If a participant is moving between time zones, the UTC offset applied to the time shown in the Survey Results tab cannot be relied upon.
